How I Stay Fit with Home Gym Equipment from Singapore

When the pandemic hit, at first, I didn’t know how I would be able to keep up with my fitness routine fully. I only exercised at the gym, where I had a trainer and a membership to help me achieve my goals. Lockdown prevented me from visiting the gym, which meant my fitness routine had to be halted too. After all, I didn’t have any equipment I used at the gym. I settled with indoor jogging and stretching until I bought home gym equipment from Singapore.

With my equipment, I transformed my spare room into a home gym, and now I’m so used to using it that I don’t need to go to the gym anymore. Now I can save the money I used for the commute, the gym membership, and the food I eat when I exercise at the gym. If you want home gym equipment from Singapore, feel free to start small. Here is some equipment you can start with that encourages well-rounded fitness.

Strength Training

I’ve always wanted to improve my upper body strength, and I especially want to be strong enough to support my body weight. That strength can help with many tasks, such as climbing or carrying heavy objects. I work on my upper body strength by using my pull up bar for my home. Practising lifting myself every day has helped me with other things in my daily life, such as moving boxes.

Cardio Training

Cardio training helps you with your endurance and stamina, so you get tired less often. It also helps prevent cardiovascular diseases and helps you lose weight. I aim to keep my weight healthy and improve my endurance and speed. To achieve this, I bought two pieces of gym equipment for my cardio: a treadmill and an exercise bike from Singapore.

I used a treadmill to simulate walking, which I especially enjoyed during the pandemic since we were all required to stay indoors. While the treadmill is great for losing weight, the exercise bike from Singapore helps you strengthen your heart, lungs, and muscles.

Core and Lower Body Strength

You may think that a squat rack is for upper body strength, and I initially thought so too. But the main focus of using a squat rack isn’t the weight you hold, but rather, the squat. Squatting improves your core strength, as well as your glutes and calves. Did you know that having a strong core can help your posture? A solid core can support your back more efficiently, even when not conscious of it.

Because this home gym equipment from Singapore addresses my goals, I don’t plan on buying anything else for my home gym. You may have the same or different goals than me, so feel free to take what you found helpful from my story while you research what’s best for you.
